This article was submitted to the Cambridge journal Natural Language Engineering (now: Natural Language Processing) at the end of 2023. Based on an intensive review process, the manuscript has not been accepted in its current form. The authors were encouraged to revise the text according to the reviewers' comments and resubmit it.
The main objections of the reviewers were as follows:
1. a related work section to place the work in the context of automatic indexing was missed.
2. it was criticised that the selected NLP methods are relatively old and that the experiment was not conducted with LLM in particular.
The authors decided not to revise the paper. With the consent of the co-authors, I published the manuscript with SSRN in 2024.
